Sheila is back working at Dave’s ACE. She was so well-known in the store when she worked between 1985 and 1992, and now we’re happy that she restarted in August 2000. Sheila was raised in Milton in a family with 3 older brothers. She graduated from Milton High School in 1981. Her husband, Dick, works at GM. They have two daughters Jillian and Emily. Her family also has a Black Lab named Daisy. It was the birth of Jill in 1992 that prompted her to leave ACE. She says she really enjoyed being home with the kids while they were growing up. Now that they’re both in school, she’s happy to be back at Dave’s ACE. Past training with ACE includes seminars in paint, plumbing and electrical. Now, she’s just trying to learn about everything in the store. She enjoys working with people, and having lived in Milton all her life, she’s well acquainted with many of our customers. She said she likes to help people solve their problems when they’re not quite sure what they’re looking for. In her spare time, Sheila enjoys reading and crocheting.
