Candy started working at Dave’s ACE in November of 2004. She works daytime during the week. Candy is a graduate of Parker High School in Janesville. After high school, she had additional training in bookkeeping and also in horse care. Past employment includes working for Mercy Health Systems and she is also a bookkeeper for her husband’s business. At home, Candy helps care for four horses and one chocolate lab. She also enjoys working on crafts and bike riding the state trails. She is a member of YMCA. Jim, her husband is a master electrician. He works at Beloit Memorial Hospital and also has his own electrical business. They have two sons: Jeremiah, a master electrician and Zachariah, a plumber apprentice. She also has one granddaughter, Samantha. The family works together to care for the animals and their 40 acre farm. They grow hay to feed the animals and sell to others. They also care for rental property in Janesville. In addition to their work, the family enjoys biking, canoeing, swimming and skiing together. Candy enjoys working at Dave’s ACE because everyone’s so friendly and helpful.
