Jim has worked at Dave’s Ace for the past 11 months. He started in August of last year. Originally from Illinois, Jim attended high school at Downers Grove South. He also attended College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn and Elmhurst College. Since joining the ACE team, Jim has received special training in plumbing, electrical and paint. Previous employment includes work at Marling Lumber and ANGI International. Jim and his wife, Lucia have 4 sons: Chris, Matt, Zach and Luke. Lucia works for Woodman’s Grocery in Janesville, taking care of “bad checks”. Woodworking, gardening hiking and getting together with his family are Jim’s favorite past times. He helps out at the Janesville Rotary Gardens by taking care of one of the gardens. Jim enjoys the work at Dave’s Evansville Ace Hardware because of the friendly people (both co-workers and customers) and the ever-changing variety of work.
